Morning is the most important time of the day. It sets the tone and mood of your day. But mornings are very different for people. For some, it is a chaotic mess and the least favorite part of the day; they would give anything to make it go away. Others love mornings because they see it as an opportunity to start anew. They take it as a new beginning and a chance to overcome the flaws or mistakes they made in the past.
An individual’s opinion about the morning is shaped by the kinds of routines and habits they have during this time. In order to have the most productive day, here are some good routines and habits to follow.
Meditation
In today’s chaotic and stressful environment, it is more necessary than ever to meditate. People who meditate regularly see a substantial decline in their stress and anxiety levels along with better concentration and memory. The practice of meditation in the morning helps clear your mind, which, in turn, helps you focus on things that are important to you, making you feel good.
Exercise
There is nothing more important than breaking a sweat or moving your body in the morning. It provides a huge array of benefits for both your body and your mind. When you start your day with exercise or just basic movement like yoga, you will feel more energized because movement promotes the release of dopamine, which makes you feel good and gives you an overall sense of achievement, Wholeness, and connectedness with your body and mind.
Positive mindset
It is very important to have a positive mindset. It is our thinking that can make or break us. Give yourself a TED talk, write or say positive affirmations, or listen to an uplifting message in the morning. Positive reinforcements will pave the way toward achieving your goals.
Goal Setting
Setting clear and concise goals is key to setting yourself up for success. You should have daily, monthly, and yearly goals. When you set goals for yourself you know exactly what you have to do and when you have to do it. This will provide you with a sense of purpose and improve your level of productivity. Reflect on your goals in the morning, make a plan, and conquer the day. I’m not super rigid with this myself as I allow for more flow throughout my day, but I do find that having a general Blueprint for where I want to go and how I want to be in life helps me to feel more centered and connected to my heart’s desires.
Growth Attitude
It is a common misconception that when you graduate, you get to stop learning. On the contrary, you should be learning your whole life. It is very important that you grow and improve yourself each day. Consider mornings as a clean slate and strive to grow while avoiding mistakes you made in the past.
Gratitude
Nurturing a feeling of gratitude will increase your well-being. There is no better time to practice gratitude than in the morning. Start your day by acknowledging all the things you’re thankful for. This will set a positive tone for your day. Don’t forget to appreciate the little happy moments of life. You are presented with them on a daily basis but they may not have caught your attention. Start trying to focus on them and you will be happy not just in the morning but all day long.
Nourishing Breakfast
When you give your body the vital nutrients it needs in the form of a nourishing Breakfast not only will you have fuel to power you through your morning, but you’ll also have the energy and stamina to move forward with your daily intentions. Having a good breakfast with fruits, leafy greens, healthy protein & fat like almond butter will give you the boost and satiation you’re looking for.

Nurturing your relationship with your family, friends, and yourself will help develop a strong support system that keeps anxiety and stress at bay. When you love someone, you take responsibility for them. This also provides your day with the purpose of providing food, clothing, shelter, financial security, or just love to your loved ones.
